Crafted nearly a decade ago, this handmade bolero features yarn and wooden beads meticulously sewn by hand onto the wrists using floss. Inspired by punk garment construction, I incorporated this technique after extensive research.
This versatile piece can be styled in two ways: tied on using a string for a snug fit or draped off the shoulders for a striking look. The wooden beads create captivating sounds with movement.
Though some beads may be loosening from the garment, I view it as an enhancement rather than a flaw. Not all things endure indefinitely; the passage of time adds character and tells a story of love and wear. Just as experiences shape us, age enriches garments with a unique beauty.
